So my traveling went pretty well. I made it through security without being searched once, and my luggage arrived in one piece, though I had a loion explode, unbeknownst to me, into one of my slippers. (I will let you amuse yourselves with imagining the look on my face.) At the airports, especially in Chicago, I checked everyones face to see if they were famous (I figuer an airport is a practical place to find someone famous) but I didn´t see anyone who even looked like anyone, except someone who vaguely resembled Mr. Bean in Minneapolis. The flights were even okay, except I was in the middle of two people on the long one across the ocean. I had to force myself not to imagine the flight scene from Fight Club every time I saw the wing of the plane, or type cast people as characters from Lost. (I am pretty sure I was sitting next to Locke, minus the wheelchair). When we landed in Poland, the passengers burst into spontaneous applause, which made me think they didn´t really expect to land saftely. We did though, phew.
The stay in Madrid was fun, but we didn´t do much but walk around, because we were so tired. The last night we were there we met some girls who were studying in Madrid for the semester, and now we have a place to stay for when we want to go back there.
I met my host family yesterday, and so far they are awesome. They have triplet three year olds (2 boys, 1 girl) and they are adorable. I finished unpacking, and my señora didn´t need any help with supper so I played with them for a while, and all of a sudden one of the boys just gave be a great big hug. I died a little, it was so cute.
I am currently at the CLM, and have just taken my placement exam, but I won´t know how I did on it until tonight.
Adios, ahora!

i can't talk much about the new roomie on facebook because she could see my wall post, but she's nice. kinda high matience i think. and possibly a partier...but we'll see what happens. she didn't even sleep her last night. haha. she already has more friends than me.
wow...i'm typing a lot. i need to go to work. boo. your host family sounds cute...have fun!
Hey Sam, was your test hard? Your dad and I got a scare last night. The phone rang at 2am. I panicked just because it was the middle of the night. Your dad answered and handed it to me saying it was the sheriff's department. The only thought I had was something had happened to you. It was nothing important though. The church was unlocked and I had to go lock it.
I'm glad you are at your host family and done traveling for a little while. Stay safe and have fun.

¡Que emocionado! Y tienes tres hermanos pequeños. Pienso que vas a divertirte mucho. ¿Cuando empiezan tus clases?
Haha, Sam you make me laugh I'm pretty sure you're slightly crazy, part of the reason I keep you around I guess. Haha. I'm happy to hear that everything is going well over there. The new roommate will be interesting for sure (to go off of Hayley's comment), but no one can replace you :)

Hey Sam,
Sounds like things are going pretty good. Are there certain things that are expected of you when living with this family? Do you eat all your meals there or do you eat at the school?
let me know what one of your days consists of when you have time.
Take care and love you
